ABOUT
Educated in Fine Arts and Human Factors in Technology, and many years and long days of Native Plant Gardening: My attention is directed to form, decomposition, science, and the notion of the tool or machine versus botany. Industrial parts, lathework, cogs, screws the familiarity of metal scraps, from where I grew up amongst a workshop of engineering debris; I like both the ephemeral and the concrete of growing and making. I patiently carve out spaces to experiment with the elements and fire using garden compost and oxides.
These practices translate to unique pieces that furtively reveal their surfaces, design, and sometimes function.
